Wrap Up London 2018

Wrap Up London 2018

As we edge closer to Christmas, we also edge closer to those extremely cold and frosty winter nights. But imagine not having the luxury of warmth from a roof over your head? Wrap Up London is an initiative run by Hands on London to distribute coats to charities all over the capital to keep vulnerable Londoners warm.

The Wrap Up London website states:

“For the 8th year running, we are collecting your old, unwanted coats and giving them to charities that support the homeless, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence (to name a few).

Help us keep vulnerable people warm this winter by donating a coat this November!”

You can donate coats at tube stations including (but not limited to): Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, London Bridge and Canary Wharf. However, click here for a full list of stations as well as alternative donation locations.

If you want to do more than simply donate an old coat, Wrap Up London are also keen to hear from volunteers (find out more here).
